The 200 companies will be selected based on the postcode of their trading address and level of growth over recent years.

The annual survey provides an excellent barometer of the economic prospects of the region.

Lucy Haynes, director for CBI East Midlands who is again leading the project on behalf of the CBI, said: “We very much welcome the publishing of this report.”

“We look forward to celebrating the companies in the East Midlands that are achieving success, and identifying regional trends.”

“Last year’s report was a great success and we hope to build on that this year.”
