Police are hunting a Nottinghamshire man who was part of a nationwide drug ring after officers seized 49 kilos of cannabis and £29,000.
Ahmed Dervish Omer was a leading member of a Nottingham-based crime group responsible for trafficking class B controlled drugs within the UK. Omer and others in London and Birmingham supplied each other with large amounts of amphetamine, cannabis and cannabis resin.
Officers seized £29,000, 49 kilos of cannabis, 24 kilos of cannabis resin and four kilos of amphetamine.
Omer attended his trial in November 2015 but absconded before it concluded and was convicted in his absence. He was sentenced to 10 years.
He is described as five foot seven, 45, with short grey black hair and of middle eastern origin.
