Drugs search man arrested

Police have arrested a man after a drugs warrant in Creswell.

Officers from the Creswell Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team (SNPT) carried out the search at a house on the Model Village on Monday 3rd December.

They found a quantity of suspected cannabis and MCAT which was seized.

A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing class B drugs but later bailed pending further inquiries.

“We take all reports about illegal drug use seriously, and this warrant was carried out as a result of concerns from the local community,” said PCSO Matt Wardle of the Creswell SNPT.

“If you have any information about drug misuse in your neighbourhood then please contact us.”
