Drop-in session proves valuable

ADVICE was on hand for members of the public at John Coupland Hospital in Gainsborough as PCSO Tracey Burnett held a drop-in session.

“I’ve had quite a few people come in today and speak to me about various issues,” she said.

“I’ve been giving general advice about keeping your property safe, how to report incidents, and I’ve also booked some people in for a bike marking session.”

“Some of the complaints people have been bringing in are things like theft from gardens.

“Scrap metal is still a big problem everywhere and we’re working hard to tackle it.”

PCSO Burnett covers the Gainsborough Town North area, where shed and bike thefts are becoming a concern now the weather is warmer.

The drop-in was so successful, PCSO Burnett said she would consider holding another one in the same spot.
