Dogs saved from burning building

THREE puppies were rescued from a house fire in Retford last night (Sunday 27th January).

Fire fighters from Retford station were called to a property in Grove Lane at around 10.36pm.

They used two hose reel jets, four breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera to tackle the blaze and bring the dogs to safety.

One dog and seven other pups did not make it out alive.

Crews left the scene at 11.07pm.
