Dog rescue donations

Generous residents from Laughton Common donated much-needed food and supplies to a local dog rescue.

Members of Glazedale Close neighbourhood watch took the food down to Rotherham Dog Rescue at Brinsworth last week.

Fundraiser Tina Meekins said: “We collect money on our little close in Laughton Common and use that money to buy food for the dogs here at the dog rescue.”

“We do this twice a year and decided to support Rotherham Dog Rescue as our charity.”

“When we first started it wasn’t a registered charity and it really struggled for food, and that’s why we decided to help them.”

Tina thanked everyone on Glazedale Close who once again donated money to help support the rescue.

Rotherham Dog Rescue is a charity dedicated to rescuing and re-homing dogs. It is funded entirely by donations and run by a dedicated group of volunteers.
