Do you know this man?
Detectives investigating a distraction burglary in Worksop have issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.
Just before 7pm on Monday 23rd July the female occupant of a house in Anston Avenue found a man had entered through an unlocked door.
The man told the woman he had come to pay for a car and showed her that he had cash to pay for it.
He was told he had the wrong address, but the man then asked her if he could use the toilet. After he left she discovered cash had been stolen from her handbag, which was in her bedroom.
Police believe the man may have called at a number of addresses in the same street between 4pm and 7pm that day, and may have used a similar story.
