Various activities were put on throughout the half-term holidays to keep children entertained.

Wheels Day saw students take part in a velodrome competition and cycling challenges, followed by an afternoon of inline skating at the Simply Skate Arena in Rotherham.

Youngsters aged between five and seven thoroughly enjoyed the Cheeky Monkey session which saw them playing sport related games.

The older children took part in a day full of sports including dodgeball, hockey and basketball.

PE teacher Liam Kay said: “A great week with lots of children enjoying a range of different sports.”

“It wouldn’t be possible without the help of Dinnington Comprehensive pupils who volunteer their time, so a big thank you to Dinnington sports leaders.”

Students became creative artists during Urban Art Attack.

Once their pieces of art were completed and dry, they took them home to show off to friends and family.

The Techno Wizz Kids session was a new experience for everyone involved.

Students went to the Savoy Cinema where they were allowed to play Xbox games on the big cinema screen.
