The supermarket has donated a mountain of selection boxes and other festive treats to help put smiles on the faces of poorly children.

All the toys and treats collected by the station will be donated to children at Rotherham Hospital.

Ash Saywell and Barry Bull from the station donned fancy dress costumes to collect the trolley load of gifts from Tesco staff Martin Wright and Chris Jessop.

There are several ways members of the public and businesses can donate to the toy appeal.

Donations can be made directly at the station in the Old Colliery Office, in Colliery Road, Kiveton Park - dev.redroadfm.com/WP/ - or by calling Barry Bull at the station on 07788121802.
