Dinnington: Student art will inspire local area
A Rotherham College art student will have her artwork showcased around Dinnington in an inspiring project to promote local and independent shops in the area.
Georgina Brown, 20, will have six pieces of her artwork displayed along the Dinnington main street as part of the Dinnington Gallery project.
Georgina based her artwork around the children’s book, the Wind in the Willows, focusing on six key scenes from the book, first drawing the picture by hand then scanning it in and colouring it on Photoshop where she added textures and tones.
Her work was picked during an exhibition at the Old Town Gallery in Rotherham earlier this year as part of her course.
