Connexion2, who manufacture and sell the lone worker device Identicom, raised more than £200 for St Luke’s Hospice in Sheffield at the festive fundraiser.

Craig Swallow, managing director of Connexion2, said: “It was brilliant for staff to get involved and take part in the competition to help such a wonderful charity and raising more than £200 was the icing on the cake.”

There were a wide range of treats baked by staff, from a decorated cookie monster to a lemon drizzle cake and decorated chocolate cupcakes.

The winning creation, chocolate mud cake, was baked by product support specialist Jude Wing.

The company provides their devices to staff within St Luke’s palliative supportnNursing team as they visit homes across Sheffield.
