Annie Creek, 82, is interested in architecture and had always wanted to see the lift.
Staff at Athorpe Lodge arranged a visit with university staff, allowing Annie to see the lift and stand in it.
Athorpe Lodge’s summer fair will take place on Saturday 20th July at 2pm.
