Derbyshire: Mystery woman scoops £1million on Lottery

The lucky woman, known only as Mrs W, from Derbyshire, won in the EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle draw on Christmas Eve.

She was playing EuroMillions through national-lottery.co.uk.

She has become one of over six million players that win each week on The National Lottery’s range of games.

A National Lottery spokesman said: “Huge congratulations to Mrs W for winning this fantastic prize without even touching a ticket.”

“With many people leading busy lives playing online is becoming increasingly popular, especially in the lead up to Christmas, as through a few simple clicks players can make sure that they don’t miss out.”
