Derbyshire: Car badges stolen from 10 cars

The car badges from 10 cars have been stolen in the Creswell, Clowne and Bolsover area.

Police are appealing for information and for people to check their own vehicles after the emblem badges from 10 cars parked in the Creswell, Clowne and Bolsover area have been stolen.

The main area affected is Creswell with vehicles parked on Morven Street, Portland Avenue, Bluebell Walk, Linden Road, Water Lily Gardens, Kings Close, Willow Close and Welbeck Street all having badges stolen.

A Nissan Quashqui parked on Welbeck Road, Bolsover, and a Kia C’eed parked at the Tesco store in Clowne, have also been targeted.

The incidents have all happened sometime between Thursday 12th September and Sunday 22nd September.

PCSO Matt Wardle, of the Creswell Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team, has been making enquiries in the local area.

He said: “If anyone has any information about these incidents or may have seen anyone acting suspiciously around cars to contact us.”

“I would also ask residents to check their vehicles, as there may be more cars which have been affected.”
