Dealer to be sentenced

A MANTON woman was under emotional pressure from her ex when she dealt drugs from her home, a court heard.

A judge will be urged to spare Christine Dwyer, 32, an immediate prison sentence.

Michael Evans, defending, told Judge Philip Head at Notts Crown Court: “I’m going to be asking your honour to take a wholly exceptional course.”

Dwyer, of Rushey Close, admitted supplying amphetamine between 22nd and 28th May and possession of the class B drug with intent to supply on 27th May.

She had already admitted similar offences during March this year. The court was told she was of previous good character.

Dwyer was released on bail until 25th November.
