David makes the right impression with building award from Rory Bremner

David Mills, of Duchy Homes Group, was named national runner-up in the small builder category for his management of the Folly Nook Lane site in Ranskill.

And he received his award at gala event in Birmingham from top comedian and impressionist Rory Bremner.

Darren Howell, Duchy Homes’ construction director, said: “We are very proud of David.

“We had three Duchy Homes site managers shortlisted from thousands of others and to be recognised so highly in these awards is testament to the hard work and dedication the site teams bring to their roles.

“This is the third consecutive year Duchy Homes site managers have received national winner and national runner-up awards.

Steve Wood, NHBC chief executive, added: “We had an outstanding shortlist of finalists who are showcasing and sharing best practice across the industry.”
