Curfew for racial abuse

Worksop Magistrates Court heard Glynn Edward York, 55, of Potter Street was involved in a disturbance outside a pub on 14th June.

Police were called and he was heard making racist comments about another customer. He was told to calm down but made further comments and was arrested.

David Verity, defending, said he had been helping the land lady who was having trouble with another group.

He was given a six month community order with a 10 week curfew from 7pm to 7am. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs.
