Crown court date for teen in arson case

A TEENAGER charged with deliberately setting fire to Gainsborough nursery Little Lambs has appeared before magistrates.

Jamie Moxon, 18, of Earlesmere Avenue, Doncaster denies two counts of arson at the Corringham Road nursery on in December last year.

The first charge, relates to a fire which caused damage to the kitchen at the nursery on 9th December. The second fire, on 11th December, caused damage to other rooms inside the nursery.

Moxon appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 6th November for a committal hearing.

He was committed to Lincoln Crown Court for a plea and directions hearing on Tuesday 18th December 2012.

Moxon’s conditional bail was extended, stating he must not enter Gainsborough.
