Criminal case closed on Sade Russell

TWO men arrested after a young Dinnington woman collapsed and died following a night out have been told they are not to face charges.

The men, aged 33 and 53, were arrested and interviewed last June after the death of 21-year-old Sade Russell, of Addison Square.

Sade was found dead in her bedroom after earlier being discovered by Salvation Army workers in the street in her dressing gown.

The men interviewed by police and bailed at the time have now been told they no longer form a part of any investigation.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “The criminal investigation into the death of 21-year-old Sade Ann Russell, whose body was found in Dinnington during the early hours of June 12 last year, has now concluded.”

“No charges have been brought by the Crown Prosecution Service and two men arrested at the time have since been released. We now await a date for the conclusion of Sade’s inquest.”
