Worksop man sentenced after more than 40 cannabis plants found at his home

A Worksop man has been sentenced after over 40 cannabis plants were found at his home.

Gary Widdowson, 34, of Vicars Walk, was sentenced at Nottingham Crown Court yesterday (5 August).

Widdowson pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply at a previous hearing.

Officers found the plants after searching Widdowson’s house in relation to an unrelated matter. They also found scales and dried cannabis.

Widdowson received a 16 month prison sentence which was suspended for two years.
