Samuel Hudson, aged 22, of John Street, Worksop, appeared at Nottingham Magistrates Court, on Wednesday.

Prosecutor Donna Fawcett said: "These allegations are so serious they have to be sent to the crown court to be tried."

An application for him to receive bail, on condition he doesn't contact his alleged victim, was not opposed by Ian Pridham, who represented Hudson.
