Worksop death was 'not suspicious', police confirm

Nottinghamshire Police were called to The Canch, off Memorial Avenue, at about 5.40am on Sunday.

Forensic officers in white suits were spotted in the area, which was sealed off while investigations were carried out.

Det Sgt Jamie Moore said: “Emergency Services were in attendance and a scene in place whilst officers conducted enquiries to establish the circumstances.

"The death is not believed to be suspicious and a file has been passed to the coroner."
