Worksop axe man jailed for assaulting cop
A Worksop man who assaulted a police officer after his arrest for carrying an axe has been locked up.

Luke Adams was carrying the axe on Gateford Road, Worksop, on March 30, and assaulted the officer at King's Mill Hospital, in Sutton, the next day.
He also damaged a door frame at Bassetlaw District Hospital, on March 1
Adams, 29, of Gateford Road, admitted the offences at Nottingham Magistrates Court, on April 1.
He received 40 weeks in prison and must pay £100 compensation.
