Woman hurt after police crash

NOTTS Police have begun an investigation after a pedestrian was injured when a police car crashed into a minibus in Worksop.

The accident happened on Watson Road at around 5.20pm last night (Friday).

Notts Police have confirmed the patrol car was responding to a 999 call.

Police said a 32-year-old woman was hurt by a post, which was knocked down during the crash.

The woman was taken to Bassetlaw Hospital for treatment for a suspected broken shoulder blade.

No-one else was injured in the incident.
