Two men due to appear in court after aggravated burglary in Bassetlaw village

The incident occurred on Church Street on Wednesday November 7 when a man was reportedly attacked in his own home, threatened with a hammer and tied up before several items were stolen.

Adam North, 33, of Carlton-in-Lindrick has been charged with burglary, intent to commit grievous bodily harm, theft of a motor vehicle and driving while disqualified. He's due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court today having been remanded in custody.

Kaden Bennet, 22, of Mellish Road, Langold, was arrested on Wednesday night and subsequently charged with burglary with intent an grievous bodily harm. He was remanded to appear at Mansfield Magistratess court today.
