Thugs lead Whitwell pensioner into his lounge before attacking him and stealing cash from wallet
Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Whitwell.

A 73-year-old man was in the kitchen of his home in Welbeck Street at about 6pm on Friday, January 3 when two men walked into the house through an unlocked door.
They took him to the lounge and assaulted him before taking cash from his wallet.
The men were white and in their 20s. They had their faces covered.
The victim suffered facial injuries.
