Detective Sergeant Lauren Morgan, investigating officer, said: “Burglary is an invasive crime and one which is particularly upsetting for victims at the moment, when everyone is spending so much time at home.

“Our work to tackle this is very much continuing during the coronavirus lockdown.

"I would encourage residents to remain vigilant and not assume that these type of crimes have stopped.

“Together we can tackle burglary and make sure that people don’t become victims of crime while following the stay at home advice.”
