“You may have something that could help us find out who committed this vile crime.

“We have released a video of two people who walk past a suspect who is believed to be a man aged 20 – 35 years old. He is believed to have stubble and was wearing a black hoody with the hood up as well as a black waterproof jacket.

“The video clearly shows two people walk past the man who appear to take a second to look back in concern for who they have just walked past.

“We’d like the people on the video to get in touch with us as soon as possible.

“Also, there were many cars in the area at the time and this is an incredibly busy road. If you have any dashcam footage of the people in the CCTV, please send it to us as soon as possible.

“We are committed to bringing whoever committed this offence to justice as part of Nottinghamshire Police’s wider commitment to protecting victims and survivors of sexual assault.”

Anyone with any information or dash cam footage from around Forest Recreation Ground, Mansfield Road, Nottingham, at around 12am on Sunday 22 December 2019 should contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 26 of 22 December 2019.
