Police have appealed for witnesses after a vehicle crashed into a wall in Worksop.

The accident happened on the A60 Mansfield Road, in Worksop at around 6pm yesterday.

The road was closed for several hours while an investigation was carried out.

Notts Police’s serious collision investigation unit is trying to establish the circumstances that led to the vehicle leaving the road and crashing into a stone wall.

Sergeant Craig Luckett, of the serious collision investigation unit, said: "The investigation is in its early stages and Nottinghamshire Police is seeking witnesses and any passing motorists who may have any dash-cam footage that may help the enquiry."

Anyone with information is urged to contact Notts Police on 101, quoting incident number 618 of May 1, 2021.
