Marton: Pensioner appeared in court charged with causing grievous bodily harm

A Marton farmer has appeared in court after allegedly driving into a man on his land.

Dennis Henry Tindale, 76, of High Street, Marton, appeared at Lincoln Magistrates Court yesterday (Tuesday).

He has been charged with grievous bodily harm and causing bodily harm by wanton or furious driving after a car collided with a 67-year-old man at Marton on Sunday.

Magistrates adjourned the case and further remanded Tindale until his next appearance before Lincoln Crown Court.

Police were called to land off Trent Port Road in Marton at around 2.30pm on Sunday after reports of a car colliding with a pedestrian.
