The 26-year-old, of Wharmby Avenue, Mansfield, was found guilty of the murder last week, following a 14-day trial, where Crowder’s claims that she had found the toddler unconscious in the bathroom of their home next to an overturned mop bucket were disproved.

Crowder, who was high on cocaine at the time, poured scalding water over her, then watched her die before raising the alarm.
