Man's body pulled from canal in Worksop

A man’s body has been recovered from the canal in Worksop, police have confirmed.

Officers were called to the scene, near Sandhill Street, and cordoned off part of the canal towpath shortly before 7am yesterday (Monday, April 19).

The man’s death is not currently believed to be suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.

His family have been made aware and are being given support at this difficult time.
