The emergency services including police, firefighters and paramedics were called to Shelley Street at around 2.30pm on Saturday (May 1).

A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police said: “The man was released by Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service and he was checked over by paramedics at the scene.

"He was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been since discharged.

"His injuries are believed not to be life altering.”
