A FATHER who made hundreds of phone calls to his former partner in two weeks has been given a restraining order.
Adrian Jacks, 25, of Milton Drive, Worksop, admitted sending 168 text messages and making 551 calls, which amounted to harassment, when he appeared at Worksop Magistrates’ Court.
The couple had been together since Jacks was 11-years-old and had children, but had recently split up.
“He cannot remember what he said because he was so upset,” said defence solicitor Andrew Osbourne.
Jacks also admitted driving a vehicle without insurance. He was given a 12 month supervision order with 300 hours unpaid work and an indefinite restraining order. He was also ordered to pay a £100 fine and a £15 victim surcharge.
