Man in court over stabbing

A MAN has been remanded in custody following an attack in Worksop in the early hours of Boxing Day.

Mark Charles O’Sullivan, 35, of Godfrey’s Court, appeared at Nottingham Crown Court on Monday facing two charges of grievous bodily harm with intent. It is alleged he stabbed Joanne Rutledge and Stephen Hutchinson at her flat in Worksop.

Judge Michael Stokes, the recorder of Nottingham, remanded him in custody until a hearing on 29th March when he will be expected to enter his plea.

A provisional trial date was fixed for the week commencing 3rd May, with any hearing expected to last two to three days.
