Man airlifted to hospital in Worksop over 'concerns for his safety'

An air ambulance landed in Worksop before airlifting a man to hospital over ‘concerns for his safety’.

Nottinghamshire Police were called to Clumber Place at around 3.40pm on Sunday (February 21) following a report of cause for concern for a man who was in the area.

Neighbourhood Police Sergeant Simon Whitehouse, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Officers were able to clear the area to ensure the air ambulance could land.

"The man was treated at the scene and was airlifted to hospital.”
