Inquest opens into HMP Ranby prisoner’s death
An inquest into the death of a prisoner at HMP Ranby has been opened and adjourned.

Nottinghamshire's Senior Coroner Mairin Casey told the inquest that Shaun Davies died at the age of 51, on December 28, last year while he was a serving prisoner.
He was identified by a staff nurse, but a precise cause of death has yet to be ascertained.
The inquest was adjourned for further inquiries at a date to be fixed.
