'Frightening' incident as 'kids' drop printer from bridge over popular north Derbyshire walking trail
Residents say it was lucky no one was killed after a group of ‘kids’ dropped an old printer from a bridge over a north Derbyshire walking trail.
The incident happened on the old railway trail at Clowne over the Easter weekend and was posted on the Clowne Forum Facebook page.
A post on the forum said: “To the people that threw this printer from the bridge into the trail.
"There are people walking down there, there are kids playing, you can seriously harm someone. Be careful.”
Kelly Darby said she and her family were walking ‘30 seconds behind this when it happened’ and it was ‘very frightening’ to think that it could have landed on the poor people below.
She said: "It would have killed them. My husband challenged the kids on the bridge who said it was another set of kids who’d run off but I’m not so sure...bit of a coincidence!”
