The faces of perverts jailed in Notts for horrendous sexual offences in the past year

Some of those sentenced at Nottingham Crown Court have been put behind bars and placed on orders to monitor their future movements and they are featured here.

Poole, 42, of Twitchell View, Sutton, pleaded guilty to ten offences of having sex with a minor after he entered into a relationship with an underage girl. He was jailed for five years and a Sexual Harm Prevention Order was also imposed.

They include rapists, molesters as well as paedophiles who have attempted to engage in sexual activities with youngsters.

Judges have imposed a range of sentences from 21-months of custody to 20 years behind bars with orders for defendants to be placed on the Sex Offenders’ Register and to be made subject to Sexual Harm Prevention Orders.

John Randle, 34, of Polperro Way, Hucknall, was jailed for 21 months in February for sexually assaulting his female victim and 'threatening to blow up her house'.

John Tomlinson, 51, formerly of Shelley Drive, Rotherham, was jailed for 11 years after handing himself into police in Nottinghamshire for a series of sexual offences against children.

Mark Crampton, 48, of Blenheim Cottages in Bulwell, pleaded not guilty to indecent assault on a girl under the age of 14 years but was found guilty after a trial in February. He was jailed for five years and placed on the Sex Offenders Register for life for the attack which took place in the 1990s.
Andrew Clarke, 42, of Talbot Court, Radcliffe-on-Trent, went on the run on the last day of his trial in June last year and was found guilty in his absence of 16 different sexual offences against two girls under the age of 13. He was later recaptured and jailed for 20 years.
Michael Charles Grinion, 66, of Arden Close, Beeston, was found guilty of raping a 13-year-old girl in June last year and was jailed for 11 years.
