Driver of stolen car escapes after police chase in north Derbyshire

A driver who fled after a police chase in north Derbyshire is on the run.

The motorist was behind the wheel of a Mitsubushi Shogun stolen which had been stolen from Kiveton, Sheffield, on Saturday, May 1.

A police pursuit was mounted in Clowne but the driver managed to escape whilst the vehicle was still moving.

The Shogun was towing a caravan which had been stolen from Chesterfield overnight.

A stolen quad was also found inside.

Despite helicopter and dog searches, police were unable to locate the driver.
