Appeal after woman critically injured in Worksop crash

Police are appealing for the public’s help following a crash in Worksop that left a woman in a ‘critical condition’.

It happened on Gladstone Street, at the junction with Gateford Road, at about 12pm on Sunday (December 16).

The woman was taken to hospital with serious head injuries. Her current condition is critical but stable.

Investigating officer Police Constable Mark Davey, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “From our CCTV enquiries we know there were cars parked in the vicinity when this collision happened.

“We’re appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time of the collision and who saw what happened to get in contact with us. We’d also like to hear from any drivers who may have recorded dashcam footage of the incident.”
