Police are appealing for information after a car crashed by driving the wrong way down a dual carriageway in Workshop.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving in Worksop at around 2.05pm on Saturday, July 11.

Officers are urging drivers with dash cam footage of the incident to come forward after a white Ford Fiesta went through several red traffic lights in the town before going round the roundabout at the end of Claylands Avenue.

The driver then drove onto the A57 on the wrong side of the carriageway before crashing the car.

Police arrested a 28-year-old man at the scene and an investigation is ongoing.

Anyone who has any information or was driving in the area around the time of the crash and has dash cam footage should call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident 505 of 11 July 2020.
