Creswell: New police appeal for witnesses to aggravated burglary

Police have made a fresh appeal for witnesses to come forward after an aggravated burglary in Creswell.

Officers have urged Guardian readers to look closely at this image of a man who they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

On Wednesday June 11th at 8.30pm four males entered a house on Baker Street armed with weapons.

They made threats to the occupants in the house and a cooked chicken was used to distract a dog that was in the house.

A new appeal has now been issued by Derbyshire Police.

A police spokesperson said: “This man may have links to Worksop.”

“He may also have links to South Yorkshire.”

The first appeal was made on 22nd July but so far officers have not been able to track down this male.

Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Sarah Adams at Ripley CID using the non-emergency number 101.

To report a crime anonymously you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
