Martin Kemp, 47, of Sherwood Avenue, began growing his beard for charity in March 2014.

One year on, he will be shaving it off at the Black Diamond pub on Elmton Road on 7th March.

All funds raised throughout the year and on the night will go towards Air Ambulance.

Green Energy Solutions have donated £1,000,” he said.

“I started growing my beard and I thought I would on carry on growing it. I don’t have a cash target in mind,” he added.
