THEFT

Steven Lindley, 24, of Queen Street, Retford. Stole two candle holders, a bottle of HP sauce, fragrance spray, body spray, two bottles of body wash, a jar of jam, to the value of £8.32, belonging to Home Bargains. Discharged conditonally for 12 months. Also ordered to pay £85 in court costs and a £15 victim surcharge.

Michael Bean, 32, of Carter Lane, Mansfield, admitted stealing DVDs and computer games worth £346 from Asda and failing to give a drugs sample.He was jailed for 16 weeks ad made to pay costs of £80.

Perovs Konstanins, 42, of Layton Avenue, Mansfield, had screwdrivers and allen keys in his possession in connection with theft. He was given 80 hours of community service and made to pay £145 in costs.

VIOLENCE

Rochelle Heslop, 22, of Queen Elizabeth Crescent, Worksop. Assaulted a woman by beating her. Committed to prison for 84 days, suspended for 12 months. Also ordered to pay £85 in court costs and £100 in compensation.

Kamyn Godber, 22, of Bowling Street, Mansfield, admitted assaulting another male and a female. He was jailed for 84 days and made to pay £80 costs.

Robin Harrison, 42, of Mayfield Street, Kirkby, was found guilty after a trial of assaulting a female and admitted drink driving – having 134mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath while behind the wheel of a Ford Mondeo. The legal limit is 35mcgs.He was jailed for 20 weeks and made to pay £80 compensation.

Craig Smyth, 23, of NFA. Without lawful excuse, damaged a Samsung Galaxy A3 phone to the value of £200. Community order made with rehabilitation activity requirement. Also ordered to pay £40 in court costs, a £20 victim surcharge and £40 in compensation.

Michael Arnold, 26, of NFA. Damaged a glass panel in a door to the value of £100. Committed to prison for five days. Also ordered to pay £80 in compensation.

James Kemp, 30, of Ridgeway, Langwith Junction, admitted damaging a Jaguar.He was made to pay £360 compensation.

MOTORING

Daniel Gee, 29, of Garside Street, Worksop. Drove a motor vehicle after consuming so much alcohol that that the proportion of it in his breath, namely 49 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 mililitres of breath, exceeded the prescribed limit. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence for 12 months. Fined £120. Also ordered to pay £85 in court costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

Paul Widdison, 43, of Mabel Street, Worksop. Drove a motor vehicle after consuming so much alcohol that that the proportion of it in his breath, namely 96 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 mililitres of breath, exceeded the prescribed limit. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence for 24 months. Fined £500. Also ordered to pay £85 in court costs and a £50 victim surcharge.
