COURT RESULTS: Worksop and Retford

THEFT

Emma Caterer, 32, of Raines Avenue, Worksop. Stole two shopping bags containing several make-up related items and a bottle of wine to the value of £73.96. Discharged conditionally for one year. Also ordered to pay £73.96 in compensation.

Robert Anderson, 29, of Northfield Way, Retford. Stole a fragrance gift set, to the value of £40, belonging to Boots. Fined £110. Also ordered to pay £50 court costs and a £40 victim surcharge.

Richard Marsdin, 35, of Shirland Drive, Mansfield, admitted assisting in the retention or removal of stolen chocolate, worth £6, from Poundland, meat from Farmfoods, and failing to surrender to custody. He was jailed for seven weeks, suspended for six months, made to pay £6 compensation and £40 costs;

Adrian Fincham, 27, of Old Mill Lane, Forest Town, admitted stealing a DVD player from Sainsbury’s worth £50 and failing to surrender to custody. He was given a community order and made to pay £145 in costs.

MOTORING

Connor Hines, 18, of Wallingbrook Rise, Worksop. Drove a motor vehicle after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it his breath, namely 90 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 mililitres of breath, exceeded the prescribed limit. Disqualified from driving for 23 months. Fined £180. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £25 victim surcharge.

Arkadiusz Pawlak, 38, of Highfield, Retford. Drove a motor vehicle whilst not wearing an adult seatbelt. Fined £40. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

Daniel Jessop, 39, of Derby Street, Mansfield, admitted failing to provide a specimen for testing and was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £140 and made to pay £105 in costs.

Wayne Marsden, 34, of Lawrence Avenue, Mansfield Woodhouse, admitted using a mobile phone while driving an Audi and was fined £80, given three penalty points and made to pay £105 in costs.

DAMAGE

Aiden Jackson, 19, of Dukeries Crescent, Worksop. Without lawful excuse, damaged a fireplace and doors to the value of £983 belonging to Roots Housing. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Also ordered to pay £780 in compensation, £85 court costs and a £15 victim surcharge.

Christopher Beniston, 28, of Mapplewells Crescent, Sutton, admitted damaging a door and possession of cannabis. He was jailed for 10 weeks, made to pay £100 compensation and £100 in costs.

ASSAULT

Mark Reed, 29, of Lincoln View, Worksop. Assaulted a man. Fined £300. Also ordered to pay £50 in compensation, £85 court costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

Martin Jones, 29, of Rampton Hospital, Retford. Assaulted a man by beating him. Ordered to pay £100 in compensation and £85 court costs.

Amie Bray, 21, of Rampton Hospital, Retford. Assaulted a woman by beating her. Ordered to pay compensation of £100.

Kirk Bingley, 23, of Ladybrook Lane, Mansfield, admitted assaulting a female and was jailed for 14 weeks and made to pay £80 costs.

BREACH

Shaun Clark, 43, of Galway Road, Bircotes. Failed to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend an unpaid work session. Fined £100. Also ordered to pay court costs of £75.

Doyle James, 23, of Potter Street, Worksop. Failed to comply with a supervision requirement following release from a period of imprisonment in that he failed to attend apppointments. Fined £50. Also ordered to pay £50 court costs.

Neil Robertson, 32, of Peel Crescent, Mansfield, admitted harassing a female with text messages, voicemails, and sending her a photo with a threatening nature. He was given a community order, told not to contact the female for six months and made to pay £145 in costs.

Ryan Dickinson, 29, of Veron Road, Kirkby admitted assaulting a female and causing harassment, alarm or distress, was found guilty or resisting arrest after a trial and admitted two counts of failing to surrender to custody. He was handed a community order and made to pay £310 in costs.

OTHER

James Marriot, 19, of Gladstone Street, Worksop. Had with him in a public place an offensive weapon, namely a golf club. Community order made with electronic tag monitoring requirement. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £60 victim surcharge.
