Gary Storey, 34, of Kilton Crescent, Worksop. At Morrison’s, stole meat to the value of £25. At Marks and Spencer, stole two jars of coffee to the value of £12.20. Community order made with rehabilitation activity requirement. Also ordered to pay £60 in compensation.

Carl Richardson, 37, of Ely Close, Worksop. Stole a quantity of watches, to the value of £225, belonging to Family Bargains. Also had in his possession a quantity of buprenorphine, a controlled drug of Class C, and failed to surrender to custody at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court. Committed to prison for eight weeks.

Shareen Thompson, 46, of Queen Street, Worksop. Stole deodorant, hair products and confectionary, to the value of £54, belonging to Asda. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Also ordered to pay £85 in court costs and a £15 victim surcharge.

ASSAULT

Johnny Newbury, 25, of Longfellow Drive, Worksop. Assaulted a man by beating him, thereby occasioning actual bodily harm. Committed to prison for 20 weeks suspended for 12 months. Curfew with electronic monitoring imposed for three months. Also ordered to pay £500 in compensation.

Darren Owens, 54, of Carlton Road, Worksop. Assaulted a woman by beating her. Also assaulted a police constable in the execution of his duty. Community order made with alcohol treatment requirement. Also ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge.

Kirk Bingley, 23, of Ladybrook Lane, Mansfield. Threatened violence against a male, assaulting a male and two counts of assaulting a police officer. He was jailed for 22 weeks and made to pay £150 in compensation.

These included a knife, window hammer, gloves, spanner, screwdriver, torch, rope and tape. Also stole groceries, of a value unknown, belonging to Sainsbury’s, and failed to surrender to custory at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court. Also damaged a cell wall, to a value unknown. Committed to prison for ten weeks suspended for 12 months. Also ordered to pay court costs of £100 and a victim surcharge of £80.

Matthew Brown, 35, of Sherwin Walk, Retford. Unlawfully committed an act of indecency by urinating in the street there to the annoyance of others. Fined £265. Also ordered to pay £85 in court costs and a victim surcharge of £26.
