DRUGS

Graham Gallon, 31, of Manton Crescent, Worksop. Had in his possesssion a quantity of cannabis, a controlled drug of Class B. Fined £80. Must also pay £85 court costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

Joanna Gray, 39, of Kilton Glade, Worksop. Stole body spray and Calpol, to the value of £71.20, belonging to One Stop Shop. Jailed for ten weeks suspended for 12 months. Offence so serious as committed surely after the imposition of a community order. Defendant must also complete a rehabilitation activity requirement and pay £97.60 in compensation.

Carl Richardson, 39, of Ely Close, Worksop. Having entered as a trespasser a building, stole 50 large Yankee candles to the value of £900. Also stole six jars of Kenco coffee, to the value of £17.34, belonging to B&M and a quantity of socks, pants and DVDs, to the value of £201, belonging to Matalan. Jailed for 12 weeks. Jailed for 36 weeks. Offence so serious as prolific offender.

Lee Moody, 44, of Gladstone Street, Worksop. Stole coffee and chicken, to the value of £63.80, belonging to Sainsbury’s. Also resisted a police officer in the execution of their duty. Community order made with curfew requirement , electronic monitoring. and drug rehabilitation treatment. Also ordered to pay £63.80 in compensation and £85 in court costs.

VIOLENCE

Vanessa Liggins, 43, of Albert Road, Retford. Assaulted a police officer in the execution of their duty. Was also found guilty, while drunk, of disorderly behaviour in a public place, namely Alberto’s Public House. Jailed for seven weeks. Offence so serious as was committed during a community order, record of offending and fourth assault against a police officer. Also ordered to pay £100 in compensation.

MOTORING

Robert Smith, 24, of White Avenue, Langold. Drove a car on Sandy Lane after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath, namely 54 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 mililitres of breath, exceeded the legal limit. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. Jailed for four weeks. Offence so serious as prolonged case of bad driving with no regard for the general public. Banned from driving for three years. Also ordered to pay

Kimberley Scotland, 65, of Hather Close, Retford. Drove a car on Ollerton Road after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in her breath, namely 51 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 mililitres of breath, exceeded the legal limit. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. Banned from driving for 12 months. Fined £300. Must also pay £85 in court costs and a victim surcharge of £30.

OTHER

Lance McConnell, 27, of Springs Road, Misson. Resisted a police officer in the connection of their duty. Fined £120. Also ordered to pay £250 court costs and a victim surcharge of £30.

Jordan Rae, 23, of Sandy Lane, Worksop. Dishonestly undertook or assisted in the removal, retention, disposal or realisation of stolen goods, namely a Volkswagen Golf, knowing or believing the same to be stolen goods. Also admitted driving the car without insurance while disqualified from driving. Jailed for 26 weeks. Offence so serious as these were the proceeds of a burglarly. Banned from driving for two years. Must also pay £1,500 in compensation.
