The following people have recently appeared before magistrates:

BREACH

Nicola Smith, 33, of Sandhill Street, Worksop. Failed to comply with supervision requirements. Committed to prison for 14 days.

Mel Gibson, 24, of Shrewsbury Road, Worksop. Failed to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence. Suspended sentence imprisonment of 20 weeks suspended for 12 months imposed. Ordered to pay £300 costs.

ASSAULT

Amie Bray, 22, of Rampton Hospital, Retford. Assaulted a woman. Ordered to pay £40 compensation and £85 costs.

Andrew Price, 42, of Lancastrian Way, Worksop. Assaulted PC Stefan Gregory, a constable in the execution of his duty. Ordered to pay £100 compensation.

Luke Knight, 23, of Willow Garth Road, Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Assaulted a man in Worksop by beating him. Committed to prison for 14 days. Ordered to pay £50 compensation.

Dean Dainty, 30, of Ollerton Road, Ordsall, Retford. Assaulted a woman by beating her. Community order made.

MOTORING

Jordan Blyth, 22, of Northfield Way, Hallcroft, Retford. Drink driving. Fined £125, ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified for driving for 12 months.

Stephen Hill, 45, of Gildingwells Road, Woodsetts, Worksop. Speeding. Fined £100, ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Three points on licence.

Pawel Boguslaw Filar, 31, of St Annes Mews, Worksop. Driving while using a mobile phone. Fined £220, ordered to pay £22 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Three points on licence.

Ryan Millington, 23, of Shrewsbury Road, Worksop. Driving a vehicle on Shrewsbury Road otherwise in accordance with a licence authorising him to drive a motor vehicle of that class. Fined £220, ordered to pay £22 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Three points on licence.

DRUGS

Luke Frost, 23, of Bridge Street, Worksop. Found in possession of cannabis. Fined £50 and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge.

THEFT

Martin Neill, 40, of Pear Tree Drive, Shirebrook, Derbyshire. Admitted taking a bicycle without the owner’s consent from Westgate in Mansfield and was given a 12-month conditional discharge and made to pay £105 in costs.

OTHER

Dean Peacock, 30, of Campbell Close, Worksop. Intentionally touched a woman aged 16 or over and that touching was sexual when she did not consent and Peacock did not reasonably believe that she was consenting. Committed to prison for 18 weeks, suspended for 18 months. Must also comply with conditions of a rehabilitation activity requirement and unpaid work requirement. Ordered to pay £250 compensation and £85 costs.

Richard Cottee, 36, of Ashville Road, Tuxford, Notts. Intentionally touched a woman aged 16 or over and that touching was sexual when she did not consent and Cottee did not reasonably believe that she was consenting. Committed to prison for 16 weeks, suspended for 12 months. Ordered to pay £100 compensation and £85 costs.

Paul Burrows, 44, of Windmill Lane, Worksop. Found in possession of a firearm, namely a venom mamba rifle. Community order made. Ordered to pay victim surcharge of £60 and costs of £85.

Gavin Gregory, 48, of Pennine Close, Huthwaite. Admitted withholding information that could affect his housing benefit, council tax benefit and income support, namely having excess capital. He was jailed for 24 weeks, suspended for 12 months, and was made to pay £180 in costs.

Adam Doo, 24, of no fixed address. Admitted being drunk and disorderly on Hibbert Road, Mansfield, and was fined £60 and made to pay £30 costs. No further action was taken after he breached a conditional discharge.
