The court heard that Toon was masturbating in full sight of families and children at about 5.15pm on June 6.

He was spotted by a couple walking their dog, who initially thought he was urinating.

Toon, who became aware of the couple, ran away and hid in some bushes, but the dog walkers followed him and took a photo of his registration plate.

About 15 minutes later, a ranger at the National Trust location then noticed Toon masturbating, before asking him to leave.

He must also sign the sex offenders’ register for five years
